Davy Rothbart of Found Magazine is the subject of this peculiar documentary from Director David Meiklejohn called My Heart Is An Idiot about finding love while on tour. Check the trailer out HERE.

Architecture firm Elding Oscarson created this unique magazine wall for an unnamed graphic design agency based in Sweden. If you look at the close-up photo below, you can see that the wall is made up of many bundled stacks of magazines!

Emma Marian Ltd. is a family owned and operated distributor of Magazines, Newspapers and other Periodicals to outlets in Western Canada.

We have been incorporated since 1960. Originally, we distributed ethnic publications for Speedimpex Canada mainly Italian, including high fashion, architectural and art. We also distributed daily newspapers for them, for over thirty years.

In 1980, we were approached by L.M.P.I. of Montreal, to take over their distribution in B.C.. We continued to do this for over twelve years.

In 1994, we began distribution for Eastern News, of New York.

In 1998 we started distributing for Deyco (Source Interlink) and subsequently, Curtis, Ingram, Kable and over twenty other suppliers, Canadian and American.

Also, as of January 2003, we took over distribution of the British Newspapers for Speedimpex Canada.

Most of these relationships continue to this day.

Our extensive experience and unparalleled customer service allows us to meet the special needs of small publishers of special interest and niche magazines.

Emma Marian Ltd. is a family owned and operated business that has been incorporated since 1960 as a distributor of Magazines, Newspapers and other Periodicals to outlets in Western Canada.

We represent about 500 titles, covering a wide range of interests, including alternative press, special interest and niche magazines.

Our reputation is built upon prompt, friendly, customer service and a wide variety of magazines and newspapers.

Our aim is to help you increase your profitability by supplying the titles that your customers want.

Following, is a quick and concise outline of how we do business. We like to keep things simple, for us and for you. To that end, please feel free to let us know how we can help you.

Accounting:

-We must have a completed and signed credit application before we begin shipping.

-Payments are due, in full, no later than 30 days from the date of your statement.

-Accounts that fail to maintain satisfactory payment records, may be placed on hold until payment arrangements are made.

Shipping:

-There is a $2.00 service charge on each delivery.

Returns:

-Full return credits are issued on returns up to 90 days from the delivery.

-To receive credit, you must send the full front cover with the barcode intact.

-The same applies to the British Newspapers, the full front page must be returned for credit.

-A completed return form must accompany the covers.

Customer Service:

-Draw changes will be implemented as soon as requested, according to availability.

-Reports such as, your store’s Customer Draw List, are available upon request.
